My Journey
Art & Design
I began playing music when I was just a small lad and have nurtured that passion throughout my life. I pushed that love further, obtaining a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Sound Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design. I continue to play music today, and though I have played many different instruments, I now focus mostly on guitars.
Law
After graduating from SCAD, I went directly to Boston University School of Law and obtained my Juris Doctor degree. While at BU I became involved and was trained in mediation. I also interned with the Harvard Prison Legal Assistance Project, in which I represented people incarcerated in Massachusetts charged with violating prison regulations at disciplinary hearings. Additionally, I was involved in the civil clinic and won the Boston University School of Law Negotiation Competition.
UX/Service Design
After a spending some time in the Beverage, Catering, and Real Estate industries, I finally discovered UX and Service Design. I had searched long and hard for career path that would align with my desires to be continually learning, working both creatively and strategically, and solving problems. Along my journey I developed my abilities to be agile, empathetic, and inquisitive. As I learned more about UX and Service Design, I realized my path and accumulation of skillsets was leading me here the whole time. I jumped in to the General Assembly 12-week immersive program to kickstart my career change. Now I have returned to SCAD and am working towards a Master’s Degree in Service Design.
My Interests
-
Brewing
I’ve been home-brewing for about 6 years now. I hail from New England, where I still believe you can find the best craft beer in the US. After moving out of Vermont I found it harder and harder to find good quality, tasty craft beer so just started making my own! Now I can brew exactly the style and flavor I want and am always assured of great quality and taste!
-
Cooking
I am definitely the cook of my house and love smoking meats. Whenever I can get an excuse to smoke some ribs, a nice pork butt, or a melt in your mouth brisket I jump on it! It doesn’t hurt that it pairs extremely well with a fresh home-brewed beer!

Football
I am a Diehard Atlanta Falcons fan and season ticket holder. During football season my Sundays are dedicated to watching the Falcons either in Mercedes Benz Stadium or at home with something tasty off the smoker.
